Bodies

 

There are four different types of bodies in Rocket League.

 

Common

 

Common bodies are unlocked by playing the game normally and completing matches. The following bodies are unlocked by default at the beginning of the game: Gizmo, Octane, Road Hog and X-Devil.

 

 

Import

 

These bodies are obtained by opening crates and by trading with other players.

 

 

Platform Exclusives

 

The platform exclusives are only available to specific platform: Xbox One , PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

 

 

Premium

 

The Premium bodies are only obtainable by purchasing DLC packages.

 

 

The Batmobile and DeLorean Time Machine are licensed properties and as such they can not be modified using decals, toppers or atennas (links).

 

Decals

 

Decals are what it sounds like, a cusomization option, applying decals to the body of a car alter the look of a vehicle.

 

Common

 

Common decals can be unlocked by playing the game and completing matches. Some decals are already unlocked by default.

 

 

Rare

 

Some of the rare decals can only be found in Rocket League crates or traded with players and other through random drop or trade-ups.

 

 

Very Rare

 

These decals are only obtainable through crates or traded with players.

 

 

Import

 

The Import decals are basically Common decals but can only be used by their respective cars.

 

 

Limited

 

Limited decals can only be obtained during special events that are run for a limited time.

 

 

 

Black Market

 

These are the epic decals of Rocket League. The Black Market decals are extremely rare due to very low drop rate. Can be applied to all battle-cars.

 

 

Premium

 

Available only by purchasing related DLC.

 

 

Common

 

Common Wheels can be unlocked by playing the game and completing matches. Some decals are already unlocked by default.

 

Painted variations of the Common Wheels can only be obtained by using Trade-in.

 

 

Platform Exclusives

 

The platform exclusive Wheels are only available to respective specific platform.

 

 

Rare

 

Can be found through random drop after completing online matches or by doing Trade-up.

 

 

Very Rare

 

These Wheels can only be obtained by opening Rocket League crates or trading with players.

 

 

Import

 

Import Wheels can only be obtained by opening Rocket League crates using Rocket League keys or by trading with other players.

 

 

Exotic

 

Exotic Wheels are only available from Rocket League crates or by trading five Import items from the same Rocket League crate.

 

 

Limited

 

Limited Rocket League Wheels can only be obtained during special events that are run for a limited time.

 

 

 

Tickets

 

World Championship wheels were given to players that had tickets to the RLCS World Championship. A player would get an exclusive code along with their ticket and redeem the code and receive these exclusive Wheels.

 

 

 

Premium

 

Premium Wheels can only be obtained by through DLC packs.

 

 

Unreleased

 

In the game files or Rocket League there are two Icon images that have not yet been released to the game. Probably these two wheels, Rhino 2 and Road Hog XL will be made available in later updates of Rocket League.

 

 

 

Rocket Trails

 

Similar to Rocket Boosts, a Trail is activated only when the battle-car reaches supersonic speeds.

 

Common

 

Available to all players by default.

 

 

Very Rare

 

These Trails can only be obtained by opening Rocket League crates or by trading with other players.

 

 

Limited

 

Players that participated in competitive play during Season for was awarded trails when the season was finished.

 

 

Premium

 

Premium Wheels can only be obtained by through DLC packs.

 

 

Rocket Boosts

 

Customization option having the effect of shooting out a single or a double trail when using boost.

 

Common

 

Common Rocket Boosts can be unlocked by playing the game and completing matches. Some decals are already unlocked by default.

 

Some of the Common Boosts can be  customized to other colors, these colors can be obtained via the trade-in system.

 

 

Platform Exclusives

 

The platform exclusives are only available to specific platforms: Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

 

 

 

Very Rare

 

These can be dropped after completing online matches or by doing a trade-up with five rare items. Some can be found in Rocket League crates or traded by other players.

 

 

Import

 

These Rocket Boosts are only available in Rocket League crates or traded by other players.

 

 

Limited

 

Limited Rocket Boosts can only be obtained during special events that are run for a limited time.

 

 

 

Premium

 

Premium Rocket Boosts can only be obtained by through DLC packs.

 

 

The Batmobile and Outatime boost are licensed properties and can only be used with their DLC car bodies. Therefore these can not be combined with other car bodies.

 

Toppers

 

Common

 

Common Toppers can be unlocked by playing the game and completing matches.

 

 

 

Uncommon

 

These Toppers can be obtained as random drops after completing online matches.

 

 

 

Platform Exclusives

 

The platform exclusive Toppers are only available to respective specific platform.

 

 

 

Rare

 

Rare Toppers can be obtained as random drops after completing online matches or by doing Trade-ups.

 

 

Very Rare

 

Very Rare Toppers can be obtained as random drops after completing online matches or by doing Trade-ups.

 

 

Limited

 

Limited Rocket League Toppers can only be obtained during special events that are run for a limited time.

 

 

Hackers Reward

 

The most rare Rocket League item. The White Hat Topper is believed to be owned by only four different players. This is where we got inspiration for our logo resembling the legendary White Hat.

The story goes like this: there was a bug that could be exploited in the game, instead of abusing this exploit these four players helped the developers fix the bug. They then recieved the White Hat Topper as a reward for the heroism.

What make this item particularly interesting is the fact that the item can be traded to other players. When this item hits the market it will surely fetch a big price.

 

 

Premium

 

Premium Toppers can only be obtained by through DLC packs.

 

 

Antennas

 

Antennas are customization items for Rocket League battle-cars. Antennas can be painted but not certified.

 

Common

 

Common Antennas can be unlocked by playing the game and completing matches. Some decals are already unlocked by default.

Uncommon

 

These Antennas can be obtained through random drops when completing online matches.

Psyonix

 

Only the blessed staff of Psyonix can ride around with this exclusive Antenna.

 

 

Limited

 

Limited Rocket League Wheels can only be obtained during special events that are run for a limited time.

 

 

 

 

Premium

 

Premium Antennas can only be obtained by through DLC packs.

 

 

Goal Explosion

 

Goal Explosions are another customization option for Rocket League.

Common

 

Common Goal Explosions can be unlocked by playing the game and completing matches. Some decals are already unlocked by default.

 

The Classic explosion is available by default.

 

 

Import

 

These Goal Explosions can only be obtainable from crates or trading with other players.

 

 

Exotic

 

These Goal Explosions can only be obtainable from crates or trading with other players.

 

 

 

Limited

 

Limited Goal Explosions can only be obtained during special events that are run for a limited time.

 

Another exclusive RLCS (Rocket League Championship Series) Fan Reward and can only be obtained by watching the live streams of RLCS matches. It is a random Rocket League items drop and you need to register for Fan Rewards then watch the streams through Twitch. You also need to have your Rocket League account linked to your Twitch account.

 

Available from 10/3/2018

 

 

Black Market

 

Black Market Goal Explosions can only be obtained from Rocket League crates or traded by other players.

 

 

Premium

 

Premium Goal Explosions can only be obtained by through DLC packs.

 

 

Player Banners

 

Relatively new feature that was released on the 28th September 2017, the players can equip unique banners that surround their name and in-game title. These appears during replays and on the post-game celebration screen.

Very Rare

 

 

Limited

 

Awarded to player participating in competitive during Season 5.

 

 

 

Premium

 

Premium Player Banners can only be obtained by through DLC packs.

 

 

Unobtainable

 

This ultra super rare Banner is only available to bots!

 

 

 

Engine Audio

 

Customization option that was added 5/7/2017. It was part of the 2nd anniversary update of Rocket League.

 

All Engine Audios are classified as Common.

Here you can find all the Rocket League items from different Crates. Navigate through table of content below.

Rocket League crates can contain the following items Bodies, Decals, Animated Decals, Goal Explosions, Rocket Boosts, Wheels, Toppers, Antennas, Trails, Player Banners and Engine Audio.

To date there are eleven different item types available to customize the battle-car with. Some are available by default, others need to be purchased and some are obtained by opening Rocket League crates. On this page you have complete information on how to get different items.

Some of the Rocket League crates have been discontinued, for example the Rocket League Champion Crate 1-4. These can still be obtained through the markets by trading with other players.
Discontinued Rocket League items can be obtained through these crates. The game developers, Psyonix, said that these items might be obtainable again in future crates. This would affect the rarity of an item since an inactive item today may become active again tomorrow.
Some Rocket League items were only made available during limited time period, these items can not be obtained today. Some of them are tradable and can be obtained from the open market.
Psyonix might re-introduce items again in the future but until then the discontinued Rocket League items remain rare.

To open a crate you will need a Key. Keys can be traded with other players or purchased in-game through the garage. Today the value of one Rocket League Key is around $1. Here you can find a Rocket League price list for Keys rocket-league-keys/
